PictureElder Flower

Elder flower soap is made with an infusion of elder flowers in soybean oil. The elder berry bushes grow wild here and I have many on my farm. When they are in bloom, I harvest many MANY flower sprigs, but always leaving plenty for berries. The flowers are then dried and stored. The oil is infused for several weeks before I use it in soap. This soap was originally formulated for my husband and wasn't offered for sale, but it's so perfect for sensitive skin and scent free, I thought I would start making more of it. A triple milk blend makes it even more decadent. The dried flowers that decorate the top are Corn Flowers and Jasmine.

Made with soybean oil, coconut oil, tallow, rice bran oil (very high in VitaminE), castor oil, sodium lactate, buttermilk, yogurt and goat milk powder, honey powder, beeswax.

All things honey bee are good for us (except the sting!) both internally and externally. This natural soap is made with all the usual great oils as well as unrefined shea butter and unrefined hemp seed oil, but with the addition of honey, natural beeswax and organic bee pollen from a Canadian source. There's also superfine oatmeal and aloe vera extract. It has wonderful lather thanks to the honey! No added scent.

Castile

Castile soap is one of the oldest known soaps, second only to Aleppo soap which dates back 2500 years. True and traditionally made Castile soap contains only olive oil. Modern interpretations may include any soap made with only vegetable oils, which may not even include olive oil. Some would argue that a soap made with a high percentage of olive oil, but not 100%, is still Castile, it is not. Only soap made with 100% olive oil is Castile soap. It can still be scented or coloured, but those should also be natural in nature. Castile soap also takes an exceptionally long time to cure, a minimum of 6 months. This ensures Castile's incredible mildness, and improves Castile's typically not great lather. Suitable for all skin types. The ultimate natural soap!
This Castile is scent free and vegan.

Made with olive oil, kaolin clay and sugar.

Calendula and Orris Root

Calendula and orris root powder are both soothing, making this mild, scent free soap ideal for sensitive skin, and especially nice for frequent hand washing. Orris root powder is the ground root of Iris Germanica. The calendula is from my garden. Also contains aloe.

Made with soybean oil, coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter, ricebran oil, castor oil, coconut milk, calendula petals, orris root powder, aloe juice, sugar, sea salt.
