Packaging
To package or not to package, a much debated topic. All handmade soap and bath products require labeling, Health Canada has very clear guidelines about this, all ingredients must be listed on every item. My preference is to completely wrap the soap or bathbomb, (items that aren't sold in their own jar or tin etc), to ensure they are clean and presentable. I don't know about you,
but I don't want to buy and use an unwrapped or partially wrapped personal care product
that's been handled by any number of people at a market or in a store, yuk!
At the same time, I make every effort to be environmentally conscious, I use paper wherever possible, a minimum of ink,
and I re-purpose packaging material that I receive in supplies. If you receive a shipped package from me
and there's plastic bubble wrap in it, I'm reusing what I've received, I won't buy bubble wrap or other packing material.
If you have any questions regarding this or anything you see on my website, please...
